Browning in your lawn could be a sign of fungus, not lack of water. To be sure your lawn stays green and fungus-free this summer, be sure to follow these easy steps:
1) Always water after midnight. Giving your lawn time to dry out after watering will help create an inhospitable environment for fungus to grow in.
2) DON'T fertilize in the summertime as this also may encourage fungus to grow.
3) If fungus has already appeared in your lawn, use fungicides to kill it off and keep it from spreading.
